Breaking Barriers in Oncology: A Novel Tool to Assess Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices on Chemotherapy Resistance

We have recently developed an innovative assessment tool to evaluate Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices (KAP) related to chemotherapy resistance in the oncology field. Healthcare professionals working in oncology often view this critical medical issue as a formidable challenge. Chemotherapy resistance presents a significant obstacle, complicating treatment effectiveness and making positive patient outcomes harder to achieve.

As researchers in this dynamic field, we recognize the urgent need for solutions to address this challenge. Our assessment tool is designed to gauge the level of KAP among oncology professionals, specifically concerning chemotherapy resistance. We have identified that insufficient knowledge, inadequate attitudes, and suboptimal practices are key factors contributing to the persistence of many medical issues-not only in oncology but across all healthcare sectors and broader contexts.

With this tool, we aim to bridge gaps in understanding and promote better strategies for managing chemotherapy resistance. As a research group, we are hopeful that this contribution can play a meaningful role in advancing global health and improving the lives of cancer patients worldwide.
